Warm Graves’ Jonas Wehner delivers two sophisticated new approaches to LSSNS’ „Gemini“, a straight-forward remix, and a brittle and broken, but all the more haunting rework version. Wehner details his approach:

“Patrick and I used to play in a band before I started Warm Graves. We’re still very good friends, so when he asked me if I could do a remix for ‘Gemini,’ it felt like a nice way to reconnect musically.

When I do remixes, I usually provoke accidents by creating chaos first and then reshaping it by recording new tracks on top. That’s how I ended up with two very different versions: with the rework, I stayed closer to the original, mostly bending its structure and adding new harmonies. The remix, on the other hand, turned out to be a wholly new tune that hardly resembles the original track.”
